QA and Dropdown Buttons disappear after assigning QA Button to Dropdown in Ribbon Builder

I am unable to assign QA Buttons to Dropdowns, the dropdown button and the QA definition button disappears from the RibbonBuilder. The definition also disappears from the left panel of the QuickAccess Settings when “Display By: Workspace” is selected. Making it impossible to re-add the definition to the quick access.

The definition does appear if I selected to “Display By: Overview” in the QuickAccess settings but trying to reassign the definition to the correct Tab, Panel and DropDown causes the definition to be unassigned from the Tab (and subsequently other places) after clicking apply changes and switching to a different “Display By” option.

This means I am unable to currently group definitions under dropdowns in both the Orkestra App and the web app.

hi @FilipeFinco , we’re looking into it . This is specific to some definitions or are you experiencing this on all your content?

I tried different definitions (3 or 4) on the same Hub and also tried to create different dropdowns, it did not work. Strangely, when I created the very first dropdown everything worked normally, but new dropdowns make the definitions disappear as described.

Yes I just did a quick test and whenever I try to create the 2nd dropdown inside the same panel I get an error message and a continuous “loading” effect on the top of the screen and on the breakdown structure on the left as well.

I see changes were made to the way the dropdowns are managed, and now I got it to work again. After the changes the dropdowns that had previously disappeared kind of reappeared again which made me have to go back and edit the Ribbon so it looks the way I intended, but when that was done it seems dropdowns work properly now.

But I also see there is maybe a new UI bug, that causes the Definitions Panel space to persist when in Display by RibbonBuilder mode:

The empty space on the left where the “Definitions” list appears persists when in in the RibbonBuilder.

Yes looks like all dropdown functionality is working again, I also don’t have the UI bug anymore :smiley:
