I am converting my ribbon after installing 1.9.9 to the new Ribbon Builder tool. But I cannot make small definition buttons to be grouped under large dropdown buttons.
It used to be possible before. If switch to the workspace view I can still make the definitions button small but then the dropdown disappears when I enter the Ribbon Builder and the definitions get grouped under a “Stack” element. Is it still somehow possible to mix big dropdowns and small buttons? Like In the right side of the image above?

It really is awesome that you’re already working on this and getting so many quickaccesses out there!! 
This is indeed by design. Small buttons in dropdowns are currently not an option. Could you show what you’d like for them to look like?
The reason behind our choice is that having small and large buttons in the same dropdown really doesn’t look great 
. You can have small dropdowns though!
sorry I also just saw that the right side of the screenshot shows the desired result.
I guess this could be a setting of the dropdown to make its items small or large. what do you think?
Yes that would be a good option. Although I could work around this by further splitting the definitions into additional tabs, I would still like to have the option to display certain definitions as small buttons under big dropdowns because my users are already familiar with the separation between “official” automations (big buttons) and “extra” automations (small buttons).
