We are considering switching from Data-Shapes to solely using Auto UI for the scripts we are developing. However, we’ve hit a bit of a snag. For some scripts, we’ve filtered the available inputs to improve user-friendliness (as shown in the picture below).
Is it possible to achieve something similar with Auto UI, and could you provide some pointers on how to do it?

This is really cool to hear 
But I have good and bad news regarding this particular setup.
The bad news is that Data-Shapes is the only option here, because the script needs to run in order to get the info you wish to display.
The good news is that we’re not so far from rolling out the Orkestra package for Dynamo with, among other things, some more AutoUIForm compatible nodes. This one is super specific though with filtering based on the name etc. so this won’t be available anytime soon, but I can definietly see how we could make this possible ! I’ll be in touch as soon as I have a proof of concept .

Glad to hear that Data-Shapes was the only way to achieve this particular result — then we haven’t overcomplicated anything… yet.
I’m looking forward to the Orkestra package and excited to see what new things you come up with.
I would love to see a proof of concept for a solution to this, but using Data-Shapes is fine for the moment, so there’s no need to rush anything.
