"Sheets" Node as input does not show up in Orkestra input window

I could not get the dropdown node “Sheets” do display in the Orkestra input window when running the script. R-Clicking the node and selecting “Is Input” does not make it show up in the list. I am using Orkestra 2.0.0.7

It is OOTB node - Revit > Selection > Sheets.

I also observed something strange:

When I firstly open Revit and open the definition that has this “Sheets” node as input, it wont show up in the Orkestra Input window. But If I then open another definition that has a different node with a dropdown selection in the Orkestra input window, like for example “Categories”, “Family Types”, or “Views”, then close this definition and open the again the one with “Sheets” input then the dropdown shows up.

So basically it wont show up unless I firstly open another definition that has a different sort of dropdown node as input.

I have also observed this disappearing dropdown inputs for other nodes now. Not only the Sheets nodes but also Categories for example. The workaround of opening a different script that has a different type of dropdown node and then opening script I actually want still works.

we’ll double check this . Which version of Revit is it happening in ?

Could it be that the OOTB node was available in the version of Revit that created it, but not in the version of Revit that it’s use dit?

I checked the Sheets node specifically and it does not exist only for Revits older than 2020. The other nodes like Views, Categories, Family Type etc all exist in 2020 and newer Revits.

I have experienced this bug in multiple Revit versions from 2020 up to 2025, but it is difficult to precisely test because feels like once I perform a workaround to get the inputs to show up again the fix persists sometimes for other Revit Versions. But every once in a while it happens again. Some of my users have also experienced this on their own machines.

Okay. That is good to know and very odd! We haven’t had any similar reports so far. Would you mind sharing some tools that are giving you this issue ti support@orkestra.online ? We’ll have a more specific look and will hopefully figure out what is going on ! We’ll update this thread after.
