I have been noticing the first time I run an Okpy Tool after launching Revit it takes about 20-30 seconds to see a dialog appear. Are there any Anti Virus or other settings i should be aware of to make runtime faster?

Hey there !

Thanks for reporting 🙂

Does it only do it the first time and then not anymore ?

Could you share which version of revit you are using ?

It only happens on the first time i try to use a tool (~30-40 seconds) after computer startup. After that its about 3 seconds even when closing the first session of Revit

Ive only tried in 2025.4 so far

Very interesting ! And odd haha 🙂
I would have initially thought of maybe a slow startup of the C# or Python runtime that OkPy runs on (which wouldnt be normal either , usualy it’s a couple of seconds at most) , but it would happen on each revit restart , not computer .

Could you please share your most recent log file from %appdata%/orkestra/logs with [support@orkestra.online](mailto:support@orkestra.online) ? We’ll investigate !
